Obelix
Wires are blue, black, brown and yellow/green looked on plate but it's a little faded but there is a number 3 on its own. So does this mean it will only work in a commercial kitchen hard wired in? Can I buy a adaptor? Thanks It's definitly a three phase system and it's going to expect 415V as a consequence - the chance of getting it running on a domestic 230V single phase system is remote... You can get solid state phase converters but they are not cheap and generally speaking the house wiring is not always up to the job of running them. Is there a rating plate on this mixer as to the current or power demanded by it?

Must be one hell of a kitchen mixer, considering you can run a concrete mixer off a 13 amp 240v socket.
