That was my choice too :)

 

We should have annexed Suriname, but the Dutch got there before us. They have produced some seriously good footballers that could have all turned out for England if our forefathers had shown a little foresight.

There might be an argument to invade a part of Africa.

 

We invade Africa again, knock up a load of factories, buy cheap labour (That is cheap relative to UK labour but fair relative to them).

 

They get jobs, they build their economy, their society becomes richer, we get cheap labour, everyone's a winner.

We could fund the venture by selling any oil and minerals that Africa has

This is why it would fail. I think we've already tried that.
