HarleyLive
We are incredibly excited to have the ever awesome Rolo Tomassi play for the first of our run of Christmas shows on Monday 10th December. The band have picked two ace bands to join them, and tickets for the show are just £5.00, meaning this is going to be one hell of a party. Named after the fictional character in Curtis Hanson's #L.A. Confidential, Rolo Tomassi's uncompromising sound incorporates an eclectic blend of math-hardcore, acid-jazz, and progressive punk, influenced by U.S. metallers Converge, prog rockers King Crimson, and jazz saxophonist John Coltrane. Their completely unique live show, coupled with their passion for underground and DIY music, which has seen them programme a lineup on Tramlines' New Music Stage for the past three years, has secured their place as one of the most exciting bands operating out of Sheffield at the moment. http://rolotomassi.tumblr.com/ Support will come from Kappa Gamma and Blood Sport Kappa Gamma Nottingham indie-psych outfit making glacial art-pop. Blood Sport Sheffield trio making abrasive, experimental afro-beat noise, and still one of our favourite local bands.
