Rotherham PM Denis McShane in expenses scandal

Recommended Posts

Oh I wasn't suggesting you were Stoatwobbler - it's more the gleeful posting to all and sundry that Mecky was implying that I would be engaged in. Posting it up to a forum like this when it's of direct relevance to a fair number of the users is perfectly reasonable, especially since you were very careful not to make a political point about it at all.

Like all the Parasites in Parliament - out for a quick buck.

Perhaps he will be charged with some kind of a crime, and serve the prescribed jail time. (don't hold your breathe)

As a Honourable (that's a joke) member of the House, I assume it will be swept under the carpet, like all the jokers who escaped punishment in the expenses debacle.

Angel.

And once again Mecky incorrectly accuses someone else of doing what he does in 99% of his posts.

Your hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me. You seem to be confusing Obelix with yourself! :D

Why have I? That's a pretty poor attempt at discreditation BTW.

And another thing, everyone knows who the most vocal people on these and other forums are; people only have to look back over the years of threads to see that. I mean, I could have started a thread about the possibility that the current governments educational quango has dumbed down students results this year, probably on government instructions, but didn't. Yet as soon as some anti socialist story hits the headlines, some people break the speed of light to get here and post it all over.

He's a local politician as well! We are talking here about the neighbouring town having no representation in parliament for the next year if he doesn't do the decent thing and resign his seat. :gag:

Rotherham is a safe labour seat, so am not surprised that there has been no apparent clammer for his resignation so far...

Q: Whats Ronnie Biggs and most politicians (Lab, Con, Lib etc) got in common ?

A: Lots ! .................. of taxpayers money weaseled out dishonestly.

It's the sheer hypocrisy of it all, the Government spend fortunes of our money to get us to whistle blow on tax-dodgers such as a few tradesmen etc, taking cash for "sans receipt" work whilst at the same time thieving themselves from our coffers !!

And you keep voting for them !!!!!

This euro-fanatical, fiddling MP has brought shame upon both his constituency and his profession.

Not only will he be suspended but to quote the Labour party spokesman;

"These are very serious findings concerning Denis MacShane and we accept his statement this morning that his career as a Labour MP is effectively over.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-20178332

Why the voters of Rotherham re-elected him after his poor performance as Minister for Europe-he was sacked by Brown-and his glorification of the Euro plus the scandal over claiming expenses for his garage as an office is beyond comprehension.

McShane has done absolutely nothing for the voters and residents of Rotherham but he has done plenty for his bank account.

How much longer do we have to wait for him to resign and force a by-election?
