LordChaverly Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 I think he ought to be sent to the US forthwith, not least because the minumum sentence he is likely to get there is 200 years without possibility of parole, whereas over here the maximum he is likely to get will be 30 hours community service (deferred). We may not have 'sharia' in our statutes, but within Islamic communities in the UK there is opportunity to submit to Sharia settlement of disputes and "offences".
