charliewag
My dad used to use dead wood pigeons he'd find on roads he swore by them to make big juicy maggots. He would hang them up in a plastic bag with holes in with a catch tray or bucket under it. these maggots were called 'gozzers'. they were bigger and softer than normal maggots and were particularly good for bream. Gozzers that's the ones:) I was going to ask him tomorrow when I see him. I also can remember now how he said how bream loved them. He was a top angler in his time and won many matches all over the country, he's taught me all I know but I returned the favour when I showed him how to fish with hair rigs
