Mr Prime
In fact the best paper all round is The Independent as it does have a mix of views hence its tag line "because great minds don't all think alike".
alteredgemed
Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It sounds a lot more sinister than it is. It's not sinister as long as those being NLP'd know it's happening, common purpose uses NLP without the 'victim' knowing it's going on, they also charge around £3500 per person to attend their courses, they work under chatham house rules meaning those taking part cannot speak about what goes on during conferences. This is a sinister organisation, the BBC is riddled with CP graduates which the licence fee payer is funding.

alteredgemed
What is it then in your estimation? It is Neuro-Linguistic programming, changes the mapping of the mind, cognitive dissonance. In it's most simple form newspapers use it, for example when a newspapers talk about 'Heroes' they mean soldiers who are fighting for the oil companies in Afghanistan, when they come back with limbs missing or dead they are roundly called heroes whether they did anything heroic or not, the real word for them would be 'victims' as that is what they are, however the tagline 'Victim' is not going to persuade gullable young men to sign up to be the next 'hero' to put himself into the firing line to assist the oil companies. It's disgusting

Keep searching for that other evidence though.

whiteowl
I don't understand what the problem is. It's an optional tax - if you don't want to pay it then don't have a television, it's not like someone is forcing you down to Currys at gunpoint to get one are they ? spilldig
If I choose to go to Argos instead of Currys, Currys don't send me a bill every year for not going in their shop.If I choose to watch sky or Virgin the bbc still send me a bill.Like I say,how is freeview, freeview if they still send me a bill every year? whiteowl
You're being taxed for having a television, what you watch on it is irrelevant. Don't want to pay ? Get rid of your telly. It is, at the end of the day, a luxury item that you can live without.
