I'd advise you NOT to contact the parking company and not to throw ANYTHING away. File all the correspondence and don't worry about anything except signed and stamped court papers - probably from Northampton.

Am i likely to get them then? Willparking eye take it that far?

Very doubtful, but you WILL receive 3 or 4 official looking letters threatening everything from debt collectors to court action. do NOT respond to these letters and they usually go away and try it on with someone else .

You say usually, does that mean not always then?

its a case that the parking companies have won by default as driver never turned up to court, when driver does then parking companies loose 99% of time!!!

It isn't a case of turning up. It is a case of defending. If the person who receives the papers puts in a decent defence then the Parking Company generally folds.

Correct. the parking company only wins by default if the defendant dosnt turn up to defend the case . If ,and its a massive IF you are taken to court ,turn up ,defend yourself and ask the parking company to provide evidence that they have the landowners permission to take you to court to claim losses on the landowners behals. That usually sees off parking companies ,and is the reason they very rarely take anyone to court.

Asking them to produce evidence they have the landowners permission to persue you for losses will normally see the parking companies crawling back under their stones.

There is always a very slight chance they will decide to chance their arm with you in court ,but ive had dozens of these invoices ,and ive never paid any of them ,and ive never received court papers.
