They want you to pay £600 for a 6 month course in which they tell you you will be earning a "black belt in MMA...". When i asked which style i would be attaining a black belt in he simply told me "in the style of MMA..." Thats not in the spirit of martial arts. I understand the man has to make a living from what he's dedicated his life to, but if you check out other threads on here, its a bit excessive. The instruction is carried out in a very easy going manner and the club has a nice atmosphere. On fridays (when I went), they trained between 7pm and 10pm, and for £5 thats pretty unbeatable. I go every week, they do Kenpo (self defence techniques) and BJJ classes. Kenpo is Wednesday and Saturday. BJJ is Friday, Sat and Sunday. They also do kickboxing/fitness classes but im not too sure of the times of these. It's £5 for one hour or £8 for two. The Bjj class in particular is excellent, as the groups is quite small and everyone is patient. Which helps if you are struggling (like me) people will help you out no end.
