andygardener
There isn’t a good enough motive to justify such violence. Agreed. Grown man violently attacking a young girl like that doesn't have any justification under any circumstances.
irenewilde
All these comments are made with little reference to the motivation of the assailant. At first glance it does look reprehensible but there must have been some motive for this attack. With little knowledge of the details comments must be both premature and foolhardy. Must be crowded under that bridge.
gnvqsos
Must be crowded under that bridge. Plenty of room for anyone without friends etc.and we accept all types here, even stuffed shirts from Lodge Moor.
gnvqsos
There isn’t a good enough motive to justify such violence. You seem to think that retribution is a wholly adequate reason if your posts offer an insight to your thoughts.
Chris_Sleeps
there must have been some motive for this attack. Why must there? You seem to think that retribution is a wholly adequate reason Are you putting forth the idea that a man has followed a girl from her home and punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground, as an act of retribution for something she has done to him? Are you putting forth the idea that a man has followed a girl from her home and punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground, as an act of retribution for something she has done to him? All events have some form of causation, not that the motive is always justifiable. I am not making any inferences unlike all the previous posters who seem to take hings at face value. I think you have read two separate posts and integrated them to get a rather perverse interpretation.
Halibut
Why must there? Because there always is. It may not be immediately apparent, it may be known only to the attacker, we may never learn what it was, but there will be a motive, even if it turns out to be delusionally inspired. Chris_Sleeps
Because there always is. Maybe, but the motive may be sadism itself. He punched a girl because he enjoys punching girls. That doesn't mean something external led him to act as he did. Even if it was an external motive, the girl may be irrelevant to that. For example; he could've had an argument with someone and took that frustration out on an innocent girl. Unlike others, I don't think it is quick or foolhardy to judge this man as a violent brute. Guest
A man has admitted punching a teenage girl in broad daylight in an unprovoked attack in Plaistow. The 16 year old fell to the floor following the attack The 16 year old was walking along the High Street when she was punched in the back of the head by a man who had followed her from her home 500 metres away http://www.lbc.co.uk/man-admits-punching-girl-in-random-plaistow-attack-63365
