Don't know so much about easiest courses, but if you want to improve there are some nice courses. Tinsley is nice, Beauchief, Birley is okay Rother Valley is good I'm told, and they have a decent driving range to help you improve, the 1st 2 were my favourites when I played, sadly no more. Dont just look at Municipal courses, there are still private courses around with some great deals on for the occasional golfer. Have a look at teetimes.co.uk and teeofftimes.co.uk.
