Vague_Boy
Youtubejhkagdvhbxzfvhzskdlfghskdfgjsdlfhkgflhn Me too. It's been 9 years since I last bought a CD. I'm not really one for collecting music anymore, so YouTube (or Gooveshark) does for me. I used to like Spotify until they changed the play limit for free users. stereolab
About a year ago I started buying CDs again - I get them online second hand - usually for between £1 and £3. Before then it was probably 2005 when I last bought a CD - broadband and bit torrent made it too easy to download new albums - I was probably getting at least 5 new albums a week downloaded at one point. Problem was, I was spending all that time downloading new stuff, and never listening to it. Switching back to CD's has meant I actually listen to music, rather than just hoard it on a disk. Mecky
To be honest I don't collect music anymore because 45s tend to be so expensive. I prefer to go out and listen to other peoples' collections.

discodown
Whats kind of interesting is that there have been a few instances where some bands have issued their music on download and vinyl but not CD. Also sales of albums, actual 12" discs are on the up. Seems that vinyl refuses to die
