Women to sue Metropolitan Police

Think I agree with the women here, undercover police getting into sexual relationships with women who don't know it's for the job - having them under false pretences

I think if people can be sued for seducing people by presenting a different persona to their real one then most people will be open to being bankrupted.

They were given strict instructions by their superiors not to enter into sexual relationships so if they do lose their jobs it's their own fault

Well unless there are mind readers or lie detector tests the guilty men can simply say they genuinely fell in love or whatever.

I wonder if the 'wimmin' will be equally pleased at men sueing female police officers e.g. the woman who told Colin Stagg she'd let him have her body if only he'd confess to a murder?

It's all very well some boring crusties saying their feelings were hurt etc. What about police seducing would be terrorists and saving thousands of lives and the terrorists then sueing the police. Everyone would rightly be outraged.

In my opinion, when it comes to averting dangerous crimes and keeping tabs on dangerous people then what's ethical can be expanded and certainly shouldn't stop at seduction.

How can you go deep undercover if you can't enter into sexual relations with anyone?

Agreed. Seems bizarre to think you can put people undercover in tight knit organisations for 7 years and that they wouldn't cause suspicion by never forming a relationship, or just think screw this for a game of soldiers.

Getting people to confide in you, trust you allows such a plant to slowly guide the people concerned, and if one pushes a bit can make people do things they would never do left to themselves. Such is the power of love, to a force that could not give a dam, except boost their figures.

So thisis just a bit of proof the government does not trust the British people and will like in the USA pervert people, to create crimes they would never normally do.

No one knows who is who, who is a police imformant, and we can all thank the fall of the Berlin wall for that. Western agencies went into the Stazi headquaters, where every file and methodology was ther demonstrating how to control, a captive population. It was very effective, and we took such information and practices back and have adapted them since. We did it prior to that but these East Germans were unlike us they were thorough, very thorough. They colleced evinence on everyone, including gossip, and hearsay, nothing went astray.

So the police are willing to build up relationships over years, just to ensnare people, make them an example of the enemy within of course. It helps to frighten the population into accepting greater restrictions to their freedom, as terrorism is possible with anyone, even your neighbours. Who can one trust?

So, its a job, it pays well, free housing and sex, with the occasional party thrown in. Can one ever trust the goveernment, it is possible for such a body to tell the WHOLE truth, and what might it be capable of in the future?

I would hope a good bit of torture, its beter than a night out, quite thrilling, rthen there is poisoning people, and people having accidents, house fires on a cold november night, brightens up the neighbourhood for a few hours. The future look bright, for the powerful, shame about the rest of you.

Yawn, there's nothing like twisting the story to fit your anti state agenda.

The Stasi had one agent for every 60 people and were the agents of a dictatorship. The Police are a thousand miles away from this and were keeping tabs on anti nuclear protesters who liked to break into power stations. As long as the protesters didn't do anything outrageous they would stay out of prison.

Again, if Mi5 knew of a band of would be bombers in Britain would you want them to rule out seduction as a tactic? We can be blown to pieces as long as nobody has their feelings hurt? Ridiculous.

Are there any countries where you think the state is suitably out of people's lives? I believe that any nation would have its police use these tactics if they felt it necessary so unless you want to live in a nation with no police you're dreaming.
