More info...

ANDY H

UK DMC finalist, Redbull Thr3style UK finalist, Tuesday Club resident, First Word Records founder and quite simply the best DJ in Sheffield. Those who have seen Andy H will be well aware of his superb turntabilism as well as his ability to rock the house no matter the time or place. You can catch him regularly playing to crowds in excess of 1000 every week alongside the very best in the scene and very often stealing the show. Originally specialising in Hip-Hop but extremely capable in Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Breaks, Reggae and beyond. We simply couldn't think of a better way to kick off 2013!

MIKEY J

One of the hardest working DJ's in the north of England, Mikey J has developed his DJ style from his early roots in Drum and Bass and Hip-Hop to encompass a diverse range of music in his sets, such as Reggae, Dubstep, Funk, Soul, House, Jungle, Breakbeat, etc. Mikey J's expertise in eclectic dancefloor-rocking is unparalleled. He's played alongside pretty much everyone in the business due to his long-standing residencies at some of the biggest and most prestigious clubs in the country: The Tuesday Club, New Bohemia, Funkywormhole, Sunday Joint and Shinobi.

ARNIVORE

Cool Beans founder, ex-Threads & Clothes Line resident and owner of at least three pairs of socks. 2012 has been a good year for the lad, his DJing has taken him all over the UK including performances at festivals Boomtown Fair, Kendal Calling, Eden, Beat-Herder, Y-Not, Tramlines & Peace in the Park. His versatile music selection has seen him play classic swing sets in a swanky bar one night and a balls-to-the-wall rave-out in a warehouse the next. Expect Funk, Soul, Bass, Breaks, Electro-Swing, Reggae, Ska, Moombahton, Disco, Coconutstep and the rest!

OCELUS

Introducing Oliver 'Ocelus' Kilpatrick to the mix. King of the mashup and king of the extraordinary, his work within the Leeds scene has certainly caught our eye and we're honoured to be hosting his debut set in the city of steel. As a resident with the Happy Slap Boutique he spends the summers DJing at festivals up and down the country proving himself as a highlight within the scene. Check out his Soundcloud for some of the best mashups on the web; on the night he'll be teaming up with Arnivore in bringing you two hours of genre- bending madness!

JIMMY THE GENT

With a history steeped in performance (theatre, screen acting, parody rap troupes) Jimmy The Gent has been comfortable in front of the crowds for a very long time although these days DJing is his weapon of performance choice. 2012 saw Jim play Leeds Fest as well as picking up credible residencies at some of Sheffield's finest nights; Puzzled, Slim Pickings and of course the mid-week heavyweight that is Clothes Line. Expect fun loving, entertaining, genre busting, year hopping mash mixing soaked in hip-hop at high speed!

MR. STU

After honing his DJing skills in Manchester for the best part of 8 years and supporting a variety of DJ's including Aim, Skream and Marcus Intalex along the way Mr Stu crossed the Pennines and set up residence in Sheffield bringing with him his unmistakeable party based sets. In the last year he's performed at Threads, Tuesday Club and became a Clothes Line resident. With his sets the emphasis is 100% on fun: expect Funk, Hip Hop, Soul, House, 80s Classics, Disco, Reggae, Electro-Swing and more!

GENERAL RON

Culinary wizard and musical maestro, General Ron is relatively new to the heady heavy scene known as 'DJing' yet has already proved he can knock about with the best. His hard work at Cheese & Crackers (RIP, now known as Hotsteppin') paid off and the Clothes Line lads added him to their already very impressive roster of DJs. Expect aggy Hip Hop, Soul, Motown, 90s Dance Classics, Swing and Pop tunes that everyone forgot about but are ultimately very nice.

LONESOME DOM

CEO of Clothes Line and the main attraction in local folk outfit Ham Pocket, Dom Kidson is legendary round these parts. Has been known to dazzle crowds as much with his DJing prowess as with his ripped torso (those who have braved the final 15 minutes of any Clothes Line will know what we're talking about). N.B. He has been integral in preventing Sheffield's alcohol and tobacco industry from going bust.

ANDY ENCHILADA

The man, the myth, the legend. Andy Enchilada will undoubtedly be playing the final (and maybe the one before as well) tune of the evening. One thing's for certain, 2012 has been the year of reggae pop (in his eyes anyway), golden dreams and Hooch.

So there you have it.

7 hours of music.

9 DJs.

£4.

We're going out with a bang baby!
