littlebasher
Tbh, it was over rated anyway Shame that they'll drop democracy for hard line Muslim rule, but the people have made their choice. Wonder how they'll feel about it a few years down the line, after they've lost all their civil liberties.

Tony
The Salafi`s are calling for immediate implementation of sharia law. They hold 25% of the seats in parliament. Egypt's Salafis call for 'immediate implementation' of Sharia law.. That makes as much sense as saying that all Christians don't want women Bishops. You give other people too little credit and even 100% of 25% of whatever % doesn't get to 'immediately implement' Sharia law. Go away and have a think about it. Mecky
Egypt chose its government, we cant complain just because its not the one we would have liked to see come to power. So the fact that they overthrew the last government and people were too scared to vote for anyone else didn't come into it?
WeX
So the fact that they overthrew the last government and people were too scared to vote for anyone else didn't come into it? Which facts are you talking about? The overthrow of the previous government or that people where too scared to vote as the latter appears not to be a fact at all.
