adamf Posted December 3, 2012 Share Posted December 3, 2012 is should be illegal to have a phone switched on in a vehicle. im sure the police can tell a phones location, so if this rule could be introduced, they could pull up all the offenders in bulk. speaking or texting whilst driving is just plain stupid, even more so in a big lorry because im sure they take a bit of handling anyway. I agree that using a hands-free phone while driving is dangerous too. But what about the passengers? I often use the phone as a car passenger.
