stereolab
Our gand-daughter in law is pregnant. So we bought her a book for Xmas. Called something like "We're not ****** there yet". Seemed a very good introduction to what child care is really like! e.g. a facefull of wee as you change a nappy. They might enjoy this one too
MrsMozzy
Oh, you mean real babies....phew. I thought for a minute you were talking about these horrendous things Good grief!!
GoGo_dancer
I find kids from age 0 to about 3 very cute indeed, but once they get past that age I lose interest!! Although saying that, our neighbour has a 7 month old baby and it screams the house down...we are actually suffering from sleep deprivation so I dread to think how tired they are! We found ourselves making tea at silly o'clock the other morning after being unable to sleep because of the noise and my husband said "did we really consider having one of those?" Bypassblade
Oh, you mean real babies....phew. I thought for a minute you were talking about these horrendous things God that IS horrendous, back on subject now I do love babies but prefer them when older, as they can communicate what is wrong with them. The only downside being is I want, can I, do I have to?
Vague_Boy
How do newborn babies make you feel? Ecstatic. There's another future tax payer to help pay for my pension and other OAP benefits.

NewBiz
Oh, you mean real babies....phew. I thought for a minute you were talking about these horrendous things Oh God no. They're spooky, creepy things. My mind boggles when I think of the sort of people who 'own' those things.
jfish1936
A grand-daughter at a Catholic school was issued a "robot baby" that she had to care for for a week. I think the idea was to put them off sex, in case they got landed with a real one!
Isabelle
Oh, you mean real babies....phew. I thought for a minute you were talking about these horrendous things I find those dolls creepy. Surely a pet would be a better answer if someone is feeling lonely and a desire to care for something/someone? Or even fostering/adopting children. Every parent sees their newborn child as beautiful. I did have one friend who said she thought her baby 'looked weird' when he was first born. I suppose they are a bit 'squished' and take a while to straighten out
