How do you think that the authorities are going to stop cash in hand payments? Police numbers are being drastically cut under the present regime, so how exactly will it be policed? Before this law came into effect I weighed in just under a ton of copper and brass. I'm known by the company and have been so for more than 4 yrs. Cash payment could not be made until I provided either a passport, licence or two other forms of ID (utility) which flies in the face of your "They are all bent" generalisation.
