gnvqsos
Is that an attempt at humour? Pontefract is a part ot the COUNTRY of ENGLAND. Fife is in SCOTLAND! We are talking countries here not towns or counties. Look Kernal I can see there is only room for one clown and you got here first:hihi:

andygardener
There isn't going to be a united Ireland. Ulster will remain British, not because 2PARA are enforcing it at gunpoint but because half the population wishes to remain British and the other half will not accept partial cessation. The key for Ulster's future is building a united Ulster, shared pride in common achievements and coming together as a devolved nation in it's own right. Badlittlepup
Maybe we should not interfere at all in Northern Ireland. Once the bloodbath had finished the calm would ensue. Maybe we should let them get on with it? Why? We caused all the bloody trouble in the first place.

SevenRivers
Why don't all the nationalists just move across the border into the Republic, surely the Republic would give their catholic nationalists compatriot brethren citizenship as refugees from harsh British rule, and their wish to live under rule from Dublin is then fulfilled. The British government could offer some sort of incentive package like we give to illegals to go home.

altus
Are they all Glaswegians? Not specifically Glaswegian but their ancestors were mainly from that area of Scotland. Search for "Ulster Scots" if you want to know more details.
stevie1957
Or why don't all the the proddies just bugger off back to Glasgow? Playing the devil’s advocate here. Do you realise you are telling a load of immigrants to bugger off back home?
