medusa Posted December 5, 2012 Share Posted December 5, 2012 The site goes down about 5 or 6 times a week, every week & that's just what I've noticed, could be every night. It's not a website well run by competent techies. The forum has a short period of planned maintenance for the server happening every night and you'll find that almost every site on the net has a small amount of down time (whether they display a 'closed' sign or not) and this is unavoidable. We do this at our quietest period of the 24 hours and whilst we understand that a couple of users would still like to be using the forum at that time, we need to have time to clear caches, run updates and the like. Thank you for your positive feedback andygardener- we clearly didn't intend for the problems to happen when they did, but we were on hand to get it all 'turned off and on again' in a timely fashion Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
