jemson
OH is going to gig too. She`s heading to Division Street. Plenty of cool / music-orienatated bars there. Think she`s going to Old House for something to eat. Have fun!
Bilge
It's got to be the Washington (Fitzwilliam St, bottom of Devonshire Green). Decent pub, good beer and vibe, plus somebody out of Pulp used to own it I think (the drummer possibly). Anyway it's very much a contemporary music kind of place, it always reminds me of somewhere you might stumble into in Camden.
mrplodge
West street/division street gives most choice or ecclesall rd for more upmarket. The question is too vague

Fudbeer
Washington overrated imo its ok but its an old style pub which is fine but £3.40 for Carling !!Agree that Division Street and West Street a good area in town bit of everything
