Would have been more use if the perp had been shot before he began shooting others. Why wasn't this picked up by the FBI? surely he could have been taken out before he shot the first person? We have had the odd looney here and there recently, Roal Boat for example. Under the New Labour years, many people slipped through the net and had no part in society, but they were well kept finacially via the welfare state, under Conservative, these people will face oblivion and with financial disaster looming, many will have nothing to lose. Could be some peoples final act, to go out and take a few people with them. Maybe, but it would be much worse if our law allowed the carrying of weapons. Early reports suggested that the only fatality was the gunman, believed to be a student's father, with one teacher, thought to be the school's principal, injured. However, US network CBS then reported that 27 people have been killed, which has since been confirmed by official sources. The shooting occurred at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, ABC News reported. A photo from the scene shows crying children being escorted to safety by police officers.
