Paint reacts to sunlight ... pretty much like an exposed piece of film in a camera ... the lettering prevents sunlight. If you remove the lettering, you effectively get a photograph as the unexposed paint fades. No amount of 'T-cut' will get rid of this. A total re-spray is the only answer, as it's impossible to match to a faded paint ... even if you have the correct RAL number. Check out metamerism too before you roll your eyes.
