chem1st
A "job for life", what are these strange things that older people speak of? Are they on crack or something? Jobs for life These things did actually exist! Times have changed, people are being forced to whore themselves to keep a roof over their head, men capable of work and producing food in abundance are stealing food from shops, and even bins. Homelessness is on the up and up and about to get a hell of a lot worse, builders are out of work - when their labour is needed more than ever. There is no reason for this madness, but it persists. That said, amongst all the underemployment, there surely has to be a few jobs for life left out there? What jobs for life that still exist can you think of? Job centre advisor? Bolster
There still are jobs for life . Supermarkets such as Asda and Morrisons offer them. Unfortunately they are not real jobs where a person can support a household and family on the proceed..
gnvqsos
I would advise the clergy which will offer security and a fall in recruits makes it virtually unassailable, especially the RC church.Another good one would be on a think tank which specialises in cost-cutting. If there are to be more unemployed then surely we need more staff in job centres? I am not picking on them, I am pointing out their employment is quite safe, due to the sheer amount of unemployment and structural unemployment. I wasn't even aware some were to be made redundant. That is really harsh times for them, they will still have to attend work!
