Manlinose Posted December 28, 2012 Share Posted December 28, 2012 although used in a slightly different context there is a graphic in the times today regarding the north/south divide in terms of labour MPs - it is in the context of, when labour talks about the north/south divide, it alienates those in the south who think that labour doesn't represent them it is based on research done by Sheffield University and draws a line broadly diagonally from Grimsby down to Bristol - it shows that, north of this line, labour has 210 MPs, south of the line labour has only 48 MPs - 38 of which are in London to that extent there is obviously a north/south divide Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
