mattlollar Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 After qualifying for the National Championships last year, Sheffield's top Flag American Football team, the Steel City Knights, are looking for more players for the 2013 BAFA (British American Football Association) adult league. All players must be 16 and up. Flag Football is a non-contact version of American Football where the players wear belts with flags attached which are then pulled off by a defender in place of being tackled. We currentley have training sessions at the lower football pitches in Norfolk Park, opposite Goals, on Saturday mornings at 10:00am. All are welcome to come down and play. Flag Football is a very accessible game with minimal amount of equipment needed to play as boots and water is all that you need. Everything else will be provided including coaching. Unfortunately we are not training tomorrow morning due to a load of our players being away on holiday. Hopefully training will be back on Wednesday night, check our twitter/facebook for updates.
