Shogun
The government has agreed to allow councils to reduce the amount of road signs apparently it will save millions of pounds good idea or not
alchresearch
I saw the segment on BBC News this morning. I can't see how it will save money - the signs are already in place, and surely it will cost time and money to take them down? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20907694

smithy266
I wish they would make them a bit less reflective!
Shogun
I think its more silly placing that annoys me like a sign that is placed at the top of a junction blocking your vision of on coming traffic, if you do look around there is a load to many signs I recon they could dump half of them. kittenta
I can't see the harm in having less signs myself, there are too many at the minute. I don't see why they have to spend money taking them down though, just remove them as they become damaged / old / hidden and don't replace them.
