The Daily Mail's agenda against Jack Whitehall

Recommended Posts

Has anyone thought about Jack Whitehalls career since this criticism surely it can only help his popularity.

Absolutely - many comedians and even websites wear their 'hated by the Daily Mail' badge with pride!

The Guardian supported communism.

......When?

As I said in an earlier post, I turned off the programme and didn't find it at all amusing.

It reminded me of a visit to the cinema many years ago with my wife to see the Monty Python film which included the "This parrot is dead" sketch.

I laughed so much I cried and even now it makes me smile to think of it.

In front of us were an old couple, about the same age is we are now, and they just sat there totally silent whilst all around people were laughing their heads off.

I couldn't understand why on earth they didn't find it funny.

Now I do!!

Totally agree with that comment, dictating to the public what newspaper they shouldn't be reading,is quite likely to increase readership of the Daily Mail.

Its surprising how many of a newspapers most severest critics are the ones who always seem to be the ones most familiar with its contents.

lol! was that aimed at me?

1. it's not for me to dictate to anyone which paper they should read; I only

pointed out that it's a bigoted, poisonous little rag which insults its readers

intelligence.

2. I don't read it. when it attempts to smear someone famous the 'story'

reaches other websites and linked in.

so we're all clear now.

Nothing wrong with keeping up to date with what the enemy is printing

Just typical DM bile.

The tag under his picture says "Jack Whitehall is part of the first generation to have grown up surrounded by porn".

What kind of pervert parents or teachers did he have to be "surrounded by porn"? :)

And what about kids of the 70s who had access to porno bushes?

Alternatively i expect Jack Whitehall and Jimmy Carr and Co will be delighted with the publicity the paper has given them,it won't damage their careers. No doubt bookings to see them on stage will increase massively as a result.

It was aimed at anyone that attempts to influence what others shouldn't read.

If people wish to read the Mail, Guardian,Socialist Worker, Atheist Gazette,Cosmopolitian etc its entirely up to them.

As it happens i might decide to have a quick scan through any of them from time to time, selecting something of interest, but i don't let every article i read influence my thinking.

Your presumption that the Mail insults its readers intelligence is an insult to those who are quite capable of making a judgement and forming an opinion themselves, its called critical thinking.
