Jeffrey Shaw
Can a 15yr old legally rent a house? No. The minimum is 18 y.o.
ronthenekred
what`s the significance of the word "landlord"? you might have just shot your bolt and lost what little credibility you had. How can chemist lose any credibility over the actions of a nonce? Being as the crime was "rent" related the term "landlord" isn't out of character. RootsBooster
No. The minimum is 18 y.o. So the guy wasn't actually her landlord?

chem1st
Clearly, his entitlement to call and collect rent. Q: did the victim live there alone? Where were her family at the time? Weren't vulnerable children being placed into housing in places like Rochdale and being monitored by social services? The article continues... Police said his victim was also abused by men convicted of running a child sexual exploitation ring in Rochdale. The group of nine men, from Rochdale and Oldham, exploited girls as young as 13 and were given sentences ranging from four to 19 years at Liverpool Crown Court last May. 'Sexual predator' Tatton, formerly of Rochdale but now of Hanley in Stoke-on-Trent, was jailed after a five-day trial and also ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life. Greater Manchester Police said the teenager had become friends with a group of girls who had chaotic lifestyles involving alcohol, drugs and eventual sexual exploitation. She moved into the house in Heywood with a number of these girls, and that is when Tatton told her she could not live rent-free and must pay for her stay with sexual favours. Police said she had been reluctant but was coerced by Tatton.

The headline of the article is "Sex for rent landlord is jailed". that means you have to re-post it does it? god I bet you wet yourself when you first saw it, child abuse is not something to be used for cheap point scoring asking Chemist if he contributes to the nations tax pot on the other hand is, and we`re still waiting for an answer to that question. ---------- Post added 07-01-2013 at 18:32 ---------- How can chemist lose any credibility over the actions of a nonce? Being as the crime was "rent" related the term "landlord" isn't out of character. see the post directly below yours - cheap point scoring on the back of a child abuse case - hardly Chemists finest hour. RootsBooster
No- maybe her family's or cohabitant's. So the title would be more accurate if it said "Man who is a landlord jailed for forcing young girl to pay for rent in sex." ?
