Marx
I hear this a lot, from disgruntled people. And I wonder why these people don't just go and make sure that they end up incarcerated. As it is of course the life of Riley. They don't get out much though.
Phanerothyme
Wow! Only 3 years for robbing someone of a future and their life? What message does this really send out? One that's less than 140 characters long.

jake
If prison was hell on earth, people would really think twice about doing crime or think about what their actions could result in. The evidence from the United States suggests otherwise.

jane2008
Texting and driving should be treated the same as drink-driving. 30 years ago my disabled step daughters mother was killed by a drink driver. She was 19 years old, the victim, not my step daughter. He got 3 months in prison. We still live every day with his actions. Texting and driving same as drink driving should hold a life sentence, just like my step daughters.
Marx
But should the person who throws a stone off a bridge and nothing happens get the same sentence as someone who does it and kills someone?
Staffy23
But should the person who throws a stone off a bridge and nothing happens get the same sentence as someone who does it and kills someone? Yes. The intent its to cause damage. Maybe even kill someone. The intent isnt to give some a scare or a laugh. The intent is physical harm, Its only good luck that it doesn't happen at that time.
