The_Knifeman
I can assure the poster above that nothing is 'mass produced' - quite the opposite. Swanky Franks use high quality ingredients, and cook everything from fresh in a spotless kitchen.
BonusGame
Very nice place, great burgers every time we have been with the family, nice people who work there also.

I emailed them ages ago about what type of beef they use and what their burgers are composed of (20, 10% fat, are breadcrumbs or any other filler used, is the beef organic, fresh or frozen patties, etc) and I'm still waiting on a reply two years later
Mr Bloom
I've not heard anyone be totally 'complimentary' in describing their experience, except from on here.
jamesogt
Mud Crab Ecclesall Rd is the best burger IMO. The Handmade Burger at G Casino (Restaurant Menu) is good too (but you may notice I am biased)
rocker1982
We went before Christmas. It wasn't busy, and we hadn't booked. The waiting times were fine, but the food was quite disappointing. Our friends weren't impressed either.

MrSkinner
We drove all the way there on New Years Day (they'd advertised as being open on their website...) and found them closed. Went to Yankee's instead. Won't bother trying SwankyFranks in the future - what a complete waste of time and effort.

Better than MC I reckon and a few quid cheaper...(and they cooked it slightly pink in the middle - a sign they trust their meat and it is V fresh...). Only been to SF once - didnt like it. Burger was a strange hard texture and salty, and not cooked pink.

The chips are also made from potatoes rather than from a bag in the freezer. I found the food excellent, but portions too large for me. Don't have a starter. Wine was expensive. Nice friendly place where prices reflect hand made food made from quality ingredients.
