That's hardly preparing you own at home though is it, unless you regard serving Birdseye Fish Fingers and McCains Chips as preparing you own at home. Then of course that ready prepared duck has been ready prepared in the same filthy kitchen you use as a reason for not eating in takeaways. I'm not sure I would risk ringing through an order to a takeaway based on a menu from another establishment.. Most folk on the phones have enough difficulty understanding their own descriptions, so the chance of getting what you require at a price that gets you free delivery and prawn crackers would appear to be rather low. Incidentally I have a couple of takeaway menus where the price of some dishes varies from £4 to £8.60 for what on the face of it is the same dish. Takeaways are convenient. That's the whole point. But they don't help themselves by making it easy for you to order. They could do so much better in these days of stiff competition. So I look at 2 ways to spend a Saturday. 1.. Go to match. Get home order takeaway have shower get changed. Eat takeaway with mates. Off to pub for night. 2. Go to shops buy duck, pork, beef, chicken, prawns, king prawns, rice, spring onions, lychees, water chestnuts, Chinese pancakes, Hoisin Sauce, Black bean sauce, Soy Sauce, onions, sesame oil, lemons, cashew nuts. Nip over to Manchester to buy Peking Duck. Spend day preparing it. Cook it. Eat it. Spend evening washing up. Go on to thread about something I claim not to eat.
