muddywolf
Companies closing down because of changing buying habits, the recession etc has seen a lot of high street casualties in recent years, but what is your most missed store you were fond of the most? Mine was the model shop Beatties, it had a certain allure when I was being dragged around town in my youth to see the trains run around the roof, the tanks in the display cases etc. I know other shops of the same nature are alive today, but it was a combo of being so young and having the kit built and operating along the roof or in the cases which made the trip into town with the parents worthwhile. francypants
C&A was a favourite of mine and I could nearly always get what I wanted at a very good price. There are still stores in France.
EASTWOOD141
Sexy Rexy, or was it called Sexy Rexes, anyhow you could get a decent Harrington, Sherman, and Levi Staypress, then down to the Wicker for some Dockers, then up to the Crazy Daisy, GREAT DAYS!
