aeinstein199
https://www.facebook.com/events/397790423642191/ Is it me or is this event laughable? A table for 10 = £5k, who are they kidding. Oh but you get all this... - Entry for 10 people & No Queues - A Selection of drinks pre-orderd by the Head of the table - Waitress table service - 5 Photo prints of your table & Friends (posted after the event) - Birthday Cakes (available upon request) Oh and don't forget there are door pickers to ensure only Sheffield's finest get in lol, apparently we need to 'catch up' with places like Essex. I put my next weeks wages the promoter is not from Sheffield! Clearly very exclusive, you can smoke cigars and have half naked girls hang off you http://twitter.com/Mitch_LMD/status/291245770642960384/photo/

jackgregory
why is it relevant where the promoters are from? Some of the busiest nights in Sheffield currently are run by companies based out of sheffield
diezeltruck
Can someone explain what this venue is all about? It's all a bit fuzzy on their facebook page. Is it a gentlemen's club come casino?

The venue is the big new casino in town (or a part of it). The owners of the casino are SE Asian and have a chain of casino's - its just a coincidence that the name sound like a lap dancing club! It's just that it's facebook page refers to it as a "Genting's Club". ---------- Post added 03-02-2013 at 12:42 ---------- So, if it is a casino, that means we have two within a stones throw of each other, with the other on the corner of Charles Street and Arundel Gate! Its the same one - its just big with entrances on a few roads. As i said - the owners are called Genting - nothing to do with being a (ahem) "Gentlemen's club" - though you're not the first person to wonder about it
jamesogt
Did anyone actually go? Be interesting to hear how it was. Didn't seem to have any impact on our regular guests...
