Seems the fact that potentially eating the Nags wasn't enough of a story, and didn't upset/scare/panic/divert attention* enough.. so now it potentially contained a carcinogen!..

It always has been the case which is why in the UK we aren't supposed to sell horses for human consumption in the UK.

Bute which is as widely used in equines as paracetamol in humans is a dodgy chemical for humans. Obviously the issue is where the horse meat came from as the use of the drug may not be a prevalent.

So what? Most people consume far larger amounts of carcinogens in processed foods and foods containing artificial sweeteners, than in the odd bit of horsemeat.

 

Stick to the rule : eat nothing which your grandmother would not have eaten as a child, and you won't go far wrong!

That would explain why im fat...... i was brought up on my nans home made Bread and Dripping. :hihi:
