Those in schools 'should' have the best English skills to be fair, as most of us have forgotten alot of it.

I say should because my mums a teacher, and she's always complaining about the amount of students handing in work thats full of txt speak.

Being told where you make mistakes is not bullying, its how we learn we have made a mistake in the first place and how children learn in school and at home.

Getting annoyed about it is just arrogance and refusing to learn is use the tools we have at hand these days is pure laziness. If you don't understand how to spell a word, type it into Microsoft Word. If you don't have that software, Google it, you will usually find the correct spelling. Google Chrome has a built in spell check too, so you can see your mistakes as you make them on sites like this.

told somebody off for that on here because loads of people commented on a post he presumed that they had nothing better to do because they are all unemployed what an over opinionated biggot.

If I now tell you that all sentences begin with a capital letter and that it is bigot rather than biggot am I being rude or am I being informative?

For what it's worth Sim0n, I thought your post was very good in terms of spelling errors (I think I only spotted one)

I think those who pick up on often the most minor errors miss the point of this forum. Surely the content of the post is the important thing. Perhaps those who do it simply can't think of anything more sensible to say?

Minor errrors sometimes can lead to misunderstanding, especially if the word has different meaning, depending on how it's spelt.
