Nesbitt
Yes and I don't think a mod should be using that word it could be classed as bulling. Plus it depicts an unacceptable lack of intellect. I cannot comprehend what they say therefore I will ban who a regular old time user tells me to.
Magilla
If there was a form of bullying on the forum that I find particularly distasteful it would be the forum "oldboy" bigots. They are the ones who have many many posts and have been around forever. They are akin to people who go into "local pubs" for "local people" and have their own seats and are intolerant of other people coming into "their space". They expect to be able to "rule the roost" by virtue of their contacts. They expect to be able to go way over the top at insulting people, but should anyone insult them, they report them to the management in attempt to get them banned. I do not comprehend the concept of trolls either. Surely one mans troll is another mans hero. It is all very subjective. I listen in anticipation. It's bad form to have two aliases on the forum, but two in one thread. Tut tut. Still, true to your M.O

Bypassblade
I'd never heard the term "troll" until I stared to frequent this forum on a regular basis, speaking personally I've always used WUM. Not sure if there is any difference, I know someone will ask, so a WUM is a Wind up Merchant. We all disagree at some point that's human nature, but I love this forum & I really have had some "laugh out loud" moments with the posts. Denmonte above describes "oldboy bigots", we have to realise that the older ones are set in their ways and sometimes struggle with the "youth" of today. Remember, sometimes in age there is wisdom, I can get easily wound up by the younger brigade on here, as today is a "want it now, throw it away tomorrow society" Long may it continue. Magilla
Help me out a bit here but are you saying that Denmonte and Nesbitt are the same person? I am, as well as Mr.Soft, Thistledoo and several tens of others over the last few months. how do you know this have you got proof or are you just guessing:suspect: I'm well practiced at spotting him now, as it seems are many others. Shogun
So does trying to pick a fight with the moderation team...you're "new" how long do you want to stay? I always agree with the mods I think they do a good job, but I personally think a mod using the word Troll is a bit uncalled for.
Nesbitt
So does trying to pick a fight with the moderation team...you're "new" how long do you want to stay? Since when did having an opinion constitute picking a fight?
harestone
but I personally think a mod using the word Troll is a bit uncalled for. But it seems others are saying the guy/s is/are indeed a troll, and if regular members can spot it i'm sure the mods call it right. nothing more than calling a spade a spade. Guest sibon
But it seems others are saying the guy/s is/are indeed a troll, and if regular members can spot it i'm sure the mods call it right. nothing more than calling a spade a spade. In this case, "troll" is descriptive, rather than an insult. You can see it from his posting history.
