carosio
Just one further tip -if you have any blocks of wood or similar, chock up the gap below the rad so it can't drop when lifting off brackets.
denlin
Get a plumber, will save you in long run especially if you live in a flat and it's not on ground floor, you risk flooding your neighbours

arcticbear
Use masking tape and cresote around them. I,m decorating not painting a fence ---------- Post added 17-01-2013 at 22:47 ---------- I understand closing the valves off, then undoing the nuts between the valves and the rad etc.... Anyway, I think if I were to set about this task I could do it but I may as well get a plumber in, just much less messing around and because he knows what he would be doing, he could do it in a fraction of the time. Nice helps from people though.... Again, thanks Anyone a plumber?
