loxleylovely
Someone has just told me that Hillsborough roads are closed due to snow? It seems a little extreme but I am already home from work and have not had a problem. My son has got to travel from Attercliffe in the next hour and needs to pass through Hillsborough to get home. Any info would be appreciated:)
That easy
I'm supposed to be at a family do in Hillsborough at 8pm but it looks touch and go now; earlier I attempted to drive down to Hillsborough to pick my partner up, I live in Stannington and the roads are shocking, when I turned a corner I went sideways. taxman
There are no reported tram problems so I'd suggest Langsett Road was still OK. The side streets that haven't been gritted are getting blocked though.
Bludragonfly
looks ok according to: http://sccplugins.sheffield.gov.uk/utc/cam16.htm http://sccplugins.sheffield.gov.uk/utc/cam15.htm ---------- Post added 18-01-2013 at 17:16 ---------- may have more problems in Attercliffe though as Attercliffe Road itself is closed from Staniforth Rd to Stevenson Rd due to an incident
Eater Sundae
Whereabouts at Hillsborough? The nearest traffic camera (Owlerton Green) looks OK

Isabelle
There are no reported tram problems so I'd suggest Langsett Road was still OK. The side streets that haven't been gritted are getting blocked though. I heard one of the tram conductors say yesterday 'The only way the trams will stop is if we (the staff) can't get here'. I think the main roads should be fine. Mine is white over, but its a cul de sac, and hardly any cars come up/down it.
