Jamais Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 I think that peoples drinking habits are changing. We like the evening bar now, usually for an hour or so between 4-00pm and 9-00pm. In less than 10 minutes walk I can be in a couple of pubs that are far from rubbish - both are likely to be pretty busy tonight despite lack of TV's, jukeboxes, karaoke etc. Both are very friendly and serve a good range of top notch handpumped beer. If you make it a private pub and pretend not to charge -the feds can't do anything. I would have a bandit pool table and Junkbox in my flat.
