RJRB Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 We can't ask our armed forces to pursue the various terror groups around the world.We have solved nothing in Afghanistan and now it appears that some of the action has shifted to North and East Africa. Policing the world is an impossible task,as has been proved many times over. Time to strengthen our own border controls and our own internal policing rather than weakening them. Time to control immigration to those legally allowed and to do all possible to protect our own way of life. Let this be a basic aim for the main political parties and don't let them allow the BNP and UKIP to hijack the very reasonable requirement that the British Governments number one priority is to safeguard the British people. The problem with your plan is that what goes on around the world does effect us back here in the UK, now the world is truly global we cannot expect to live ours lives in isolation. One could take the view that if people are living happily in their own country, then they'll be less inclined to migrate into Europe. Just an idea.
