Liver disease in women

On the increase due to women drinking as much as men as reported in The Telegraph.

It is also reported that a woman can only tolerate half as much alcohol as a man,so if a couple share a bottle of wine a night the woman is doing more damage to herself than the man.

There has certainly been a big change in drinking habits since I first went to the pub in the 1960s.

What can be done to get drinking habits to an acceptable level.

I suppose we will get to the stage of drink being sold in plain bottles with photographs of diseased livers on the label.
