sedith
Been having a few friends round for a social drink, we all chip in for a small keg of Bradfield bitter ( of which we insure we get good measures) the women bring the drink of their choice, but on Saturday night the old bill arrived following a report that we were running a pub. the complaint came from a local publican, as we found out later, and not from the Police. the police found nothing wrong or untoward, the low life that reported us has put a lot of effort into driving her customers away due to the un welcoming and insulting behavior given on a regular basis. and we are voting with our feet. Do you think we are doing anything wrong? Could it have been the 20 people stood on your doorstep smoking that alerted the complainant?

Joseph Anton
I'm still seeing double! http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?p=9515818&posted=1#post9515818 Probably treble. I suspect this is a spoof thread copied from the report in the papers a few years back. The test will come if and when this makes the papers because if the police did indeed arrive mob handed it could hardly fail.

Fareast
Wait till the Elf & Safety Personnel Co-ordinators get to hear of all this--------dart-throwing ? opening kegs ? hitting balls around a table with a stick ? A minefield of danger ! They could close it down in a jiffy and confiscate the house in the bargain. Get prepared to do a bit of porridge-------any sentence doubled if smoking was involved !
