mikem8634
That is one point of Islam though. These children have no choice whatsoever in what they believe. It is indoctrinated and beaten into them from birth. Religious teachings should be banned from anyone until they can decide for themselves. One part of why I think Islam is stuck in the 7th century and its followers refuse to believe logic and reason. (WARNING CHILDREN GETTING HIT) Children Abused In Mosque Even when children are young their human instinct tells them to resist some illogical beliefs. You can easily convince them Santa Claus exists, but you have to beat Islamic teachings into them. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c4c_1358451000&comments=1 I was answering Glamrocker's question - are there any positive stories relating to Islam? I was not saying there were no negative ones. I hope you are aware that not all Muslim children are abused as a routine part of their education and that institutional abuse is not confined to Islam. Malala is far from indoctrinated and her courage should not be marginalised because positive examples of progressive Muslims do not suit the stereotype. Glamrocker
Do you not consider Malala Yousafzai to be an incredibly courageous and positive beacon of progressiveness in the Islamic world? She is just one example. Is that the sum total ? A fifteen year old girl who was shot by for wanting education ..seeing as it was Muslims that shot her its not what you would call a good example of positive Islam

Guest
Are there any positive stories ? May be you and your like spend too much time digging up negative stories? http://www.christianaid.org.uk/getinvolved/supporter-stories/mosque_church.aspx Or perhaps fall for the media hype and journalistic gymnastics to try and 'create' a story...Perhaps stop reading these and being brainwashed. The Daily Star has been accused of printing fictional stories by a disgruntled reporter who has resigned over its "hatemongering" anti-Muslim propaganda. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/mar/04/daily-star-reporter-quits-protest

It was not sarcasm. It was, imo, an astute observation. Secondly, please don't think of me as your "friend." You are as entitled to your opinion as I am to mine and when you or anyone else comes on a public forum preaching hate I will flag it up for the nonsense I believe it to be and register my disgust. If that is too much for you and your ilk and the best you can do is resort to getting personal instead of countering my argument then you are destined for a headache or two. Attack the enemy with two convergent forces with the first being an obvious direct attack which the enemy can prepare for. The second is the indirect attack that the enemy does not expect and which causes him to divide his forces at the last minute leading to confusion and disaster. Deceit and patience are the key. Yahweh
Not stupid in the slightest, there are more similarities between extreme Muslims and the far right than either would be happy talking about. You are correct there. For a start they both like to give the fascist/nazi salute. http://spitfirelist.com/for-the-record/ftr-416-fascism-islamism-terrorism/ http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?num=10&hl=en&tbo=d&biw=1366&bih=677&tbm=isch&tbnid=-ZP9LHSzKypaJM:&imgrefurl=http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2010/11/468282.html%3Fc%3Don&docid=NGR3pP-uxcd4qM&imgurl=http://www.indymedia.org.uk/images/2010/11/468315.jpg&w=709&h=399&ei=etUDUZzNN4rL0AXuvYHABA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=555&vpy=342&dur=31410&hovh=168&hovw=299&tx=149&ty=82&sig=111551697971445235127&page=1&tbnh=133&tbnw=232&start=0&ndsp=20&ved=1t:429,r:10,s:0,i:
