gnvqsos
i cant get me head around how it is better to be on benefits than it is to work. a couple in the Sunday Sun get over 17,000 a year on benefits. its a disgrace. this must be the only counrty who rewards people for not working. Before people start having a go, there are people who actively seek employment, even after knock back after knock back, they keep trying to find work and good luck to them. but there are others who have no intention to work and think it is the countries and working peolples responsibility to keep them. it stinks when you read these stories. its about time someone had the balls to overhaul this system. again i am refering to those that abuse the system. It is what the typical couple on a state pension receive-WOW!!

blues1
Yup, just stories to deflect attention from the real parasites, those "running" the country. I heard today that members of the government had business interests in Wonga.com, is their any truth in that does anybody know
taxman
I heard today that members of the government had business interests in Wonga.com, is their any truth in that does anybody know Wonga has given contributions to the Tory party and one of their lobbyists used to be an advisor to Cameron. TeaFan
The Sun is part of News International, which avoids paying the taxes it should pay to the British government. They like to publish stories about small numbers of people on benefits, implying that they are typical scenarios, to distract people from the thieves and parasites who run the world and who never feel rich enough. tinfoilhat
The only feeling people should get reading any tabloid newspaper in this country is one of deep shame and regret that they are stupid enough to buy one.

Bruno
There are scenarios where unskilled people can not earn enough on minimum wage and end up worse off, perhaps the minimum wage should increase but then not all firms can afford to pay, it is a catch 22. TeaFan
When the forthcoming changes to tax credits are made, there will be a fair number of people who would be better off out of work. Obviously they should then go on strike for a pay rise - either they'll win and will be better off, or will be sacked and be better off.
Happ Hazzard
You can't claim benefits for a while if you get sacked.
