DaisyBoo
Hi Can anyone recommend any pet insurance companies that will cover a dog with an on going medial problem (heart murmour)? Thanks
ccit
Sadly, it is doubtful that any insurance company will take on a dog with a pre-existing medical condition. They usually add them to the exclusions, plus anything that arises out of that condition. All you can do is make a list of companies and telephone each one to enquire. Strix
You might be better off registering with a vet such as Peak Vets at Woodseats who do discounts for ongoing medication
berlingo
I don't think any insurance would cover an ongoing condition ( infact I'm sure they don't) as Strix says some vets offer discounts on lifetime meds
DaisyBoo
i have got insurance through direct line. they wont cover his condition which is fine, just as long as he is covered for anything else (non heart related). i am already registered with peak
