Don't do as we do, do as we say and lump it!

Recommended Posts

Mark Hoban is Minister for Work and Pensions. Talking about some benefits claimants recently he said that changes would be, "A rude awakening to those who play the system."

He went on to say,"Unemployed people have taken benefits for granted as a way of life and must roll up their sleeves and stop playing the system."

How are we supposed to understand his words in the context of his own conduct in Parliament with taxpayer's cash and his expenses claims?

£1,600 for a table, 6 chairs and chest and a bookshelf.

£1,997 for a wardrobe and "something else unclear."

£358 for kitchen bits and bobs.

£650 for decorating.

£320 for food and cleaning.

He also claims the full food allowance of £400 per month.

Am I the only one to think that maybe the Minister is having a giraffe? (as they say in Barnsley)

Don't forget MP's pay less income tax than us mere peasants.

A An MP and expenses are like paedophiles, or heroin addict, they say they will stop and reform but once the heat is takes off, the promises swallowed, they are right back practicing what they really only know how.

Self gratification and self enhancement always at other peoples expenses.

But the question could have been " how come the general public repeatedly accept these crooks, liars and deceivers, time and time again?

Corruption and MP are like strawberries and cream, a natural combination. To be an MP one must have a certain psychological structure, and it does not matter who they are racially or culturally.

In GENERAL, they share similar traits to junkies and paedophiles who mostly also can never be reformed, despite how hard they offer to try. With MP's and their friends bankers they change the laws to suit themselves, always at our expense.

Why do we allow it, beats me. Would I vote for such trash, is it really a choice, or is it an admission of how we degrade ourselves, and pretend they might actually and genuinely help other people. When they do help its for personal publicity.
