Bypassblade
As I recall, Walt Disney was frozen after death. Not sure if it was only his head though? Daft idea though. I grew up believing that story, but it is an "urban myth" apparently Q. Did legendary cartoonist Walt Disney have himself frozen, with the hope of returning later on when a cure for what killed him has been found? A. Walt Disney wasn't frozen after he died. He was cremated on 17 Dec 1966. James Bedford became the 1st human to be cryogenically preserved on 12 Jan 1967.

geared
It's a complete waste of money, no-one knows how to properly freeze or unfreeze someone yet. These people that have been 'cryogenically preserved' will probably never be defrosted because they were not correctly frozen in the first place. InigoMontoya
Anybody joining up to be frozen when dead, and possibly brought back if the find a cure in years to come. And once the "cure" is found, who, exactly, is expected to shuffle aside to make way for you? They get taken away and frosted in your place? irenewilde
I can't imagine anything more awful than being brought back to life in a world you'll hardly recognise and being completely alone because all your friends and family are long gone. That's nightmarish.
