Dv108
I'm wondering what people think, is Wagamama better than East One? I'm told the food is much the same but you get much bigger portions in East One. Any thoughts folks? Dv
Goooooogle
I stopped taking my kids to Wagamama after they could not tell me the salt content of the food...the ramen stock concerned me as it even tasted salty (often a sign of very high levels). That was a couple of years ago and their were lots of articles on the web about some of their dishes having up to 7 g of salt per serving... http://goo.gl/gA12v Things have improved , you can now get the info on their website - but one portion of kids chicken ramen is still 2 g of salt... that's nearly half of the daily recommended allowance for my 9 year old... It has put me right off soupy noodles...(although I did have some Pho at Little Hanoi and their stock didnt taste salty at all - I would recommend that place over either of your choices) Dont get me started on the miso soup they serve (with unlimited re-fills) at Yo Sushi... its like drinking sea water
Dv108
Thanks for that, I hadn't thought about the salt side of things, it was more the portion size. Interesting though
Lucid
Was pretty unimpressed by Wagamama last visit, like eating in a noisy school canteen! I'd go for the bigger portions!
scottf
I much prefer east one from those two.
EFCMatt
They are both good. I find them quite different as well. More choice at East 1 though if anything to separate them. You should try both and make your own mind up.
