Male births always outnumber female births right across the world by an average of about 106 to 100, and always have. While it's true some countries like China and India do have a big gender imbalance with more boy children than girl children, in every society, there are always more male babies than girl babies anyway. Male death rates are higher at every age, including infancy and childhood, even if there were no abortions or child killings at all, the youngest children are always majority male.
